Text via Email
Simply type in the email to TXT or SMS gateway for whatever carrier you use, and punch in your cell phone number in front of the “@” sign. For example if your recipient’s cellphone number is (123) 456-7890 and their carrier is AT&T, you would type in the following address in the “Subscribe to Email Posts” box: “1234567890@txt.att.net”. Almost every single carrier has its own address for this specific purpose, here is a list of all the major carriers’ email to SMS gateways:

To send a text message via email, you must use a SMS or MMS to email gateway. Just substitute a 10-digit cell number for ‘number’ for each carrier below:
